Winner of over a dozen international prizes and scholarships, among them the Premio Bonporti, Tur Bonet now tours the world as a soloist, director of her ensemble MUSlca ALcheMlca and also conducting other orchestras. In the past season she performed all over Europe and also in Tokyo, Washington DC, St. Petersburg and Israel. Holding an unusually extensive repertoire covering over 400 years, always playing on original instruments suitable to each period, she has appeared as featured soloist at London Wigmore Hall London, Styriarte Festival Graz, Early Music Saint Petersburg, Music Before 1800 New York City, San Diego Early Music Festival, Vienna Radio Hall, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Musashino Hall Tokyo, Israel, Residenzwoche Munich, Auditorio Nacional Madrid, Varna Summerfest and Yale University, and as a chamber musician at Wiener Musikverein, Wiener Konzerthaus, and Saint Petersburg Philharmonia. She has been guest concertmaster in a number of projects for Il Complesso Barocco, Orquesta Sinfónica del Gran Teatre del Liceu de Barcelona, Hofkapelle Munich, Bach Consort Wien, Clemencic Consort, Concerto Köln, Orquesta del Palau deles Arts, and Orqueste d’Auvergne. As a soloist, Tur Bonet has performed woks by Vivaldi, Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, Ravel, Chausson, Mendelssohn, Bartok, and Piazzolla with chamber and symphony orchestras in Spain and abroad. Furthermore she has conducted Montreal Baroque Festival Orchestra, Orquesta Vigo 430, Orquesta de Cámara de Menorca, Orquesta Ciutat d'Elx, Jerusalem Baroque Orchestra, and Cammerata Murcia. Her solo CDs and those with ensemble MUSIca ALcheMIca (2 CDs of unpublished works by Vivaldi, Biber’s Rosenkranzsonaten, Corelli op. V Sonatas, Sonatas by Elisabeth Jacquet de la Guerre, Bartok duos) have received international acclaim with 5*DIAPASON on 4 occasions, 5*AMADEUS, Gramophone and BBC “referential recording”, GEMA prize twice, “CD of the month” from The Strad Magazine, “Tipp” from Toccata, “Best of the year” from El Cultural de El Mundo, plus recommended recording from German Radios BR, SWR and RBB; plus all the Spanish awards (Melómano de Oro, “E” from Scherzo and “R“ from Ritmo) a number of times. She has also been nominated to Best CD of the year at ICMA and Opus Klassik Awards.
